Teen Suicide announce their studio album Nude Descending Staircase Headless, and present the first single, "Idiot".

Teen Suicide have announced a new album that marks a turning point in their trajectory, hitherto characterized by a lo-fi aesthetic. Nude descending staircase headless will be released on April 17th via Run For Cover and is described by Sam Ray as the first true studio recording from a band associated with a homemade, resource-limited approach. Produced by Mike Sapone (The Front Bottoms, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New), the album stems from a desire to break with a mold that, while characteristic, had become limiting, opening space for a more conscious and structured sonic expansion.
However, this transformation does not represent a departure from the emotional unease that has always permeated Teen Suicide's music. Kitty Ray points to an external torment as the central creative engine, shaped by the instability of contemporary technological and social systems.

The first single, “Idiot”, emerges as one of the heaviest and most incisive tracks in Teen Suicide's catalog, divided into well-defined phases. The abrasive riff that kicks things off is almost reminiscent of alternative metal bands like Helmet, later evolving into a more restrained and introspective instrumental moment. Teen Suicide sound like a big band, something particularly interesting considering their roots.
